SYH Girls Roadtrip to PWHL-Boston Game

On March 10,  the girls of Stowe Youth Hockey and their families boarded a coach bus from Lamoille Valley Transit and embarked on an epic journey from Stowe to UMASS Lowell to be part of history as we watched The Boston PWHL take on New York! The game was filled with incredible hockey, a ceremonial puck drop by Elizabeth Warren, enthusiastic crowds and an unforgettable overtime win for the hometown Boston team!

The SYH girls all got to take the ice in between both the 1st and 2nd periods and played in front of a crowd of over 4000 Women’s hockey fans! This was an incredible experience for our players and their hometown fans and the action did not disappoint!

We ended the adventure with a visit from the one and only Amanda Pelkey!

A huge thank you to Holly Ryan for her incredible efforts in organizing this successful event!

The Stowe Youth Hockey Girls also want to extend a huge thank you to the generous businesses and individuals in this community who supported us in bringing 69 Stowe Youth Hockey players and family members to watch Professional Women’s Ice Hockey, many of us for the very first time!  We could not have done this without you and we are so grateful to be part of such an incredible community!  The future of Women’s Hockey in Stowe and beyond is very bright!!

Hello from the SYH Board! We're busy planning an exceptional 2023-2024 season. Early-bird registration ends 7/15. Discounts for teams 8 and older! (L2P and 6U pricing is already at a deep discount). Scholarships are available and we encourage families to reach out to us. SYH also offers sibling discounts, full-time goalie rebates. It's our. mission for any player who wants to play hockey to be able to do so. Players do not need to live in Stowe. In fact, MANY players & coaches live in Washington County and non-Stowe towns in Lamoille County. The incredible Stowe Arena is our home ice!

Signing up early helps our volunteer coaches, schedulers and board prepare for the season.
