**This Sunday, 1/14, we have a game against Essex at home in Stowe from 8-9am.
**There has been some talk about entering into the BAHA Jamboree in Burlington from Friday, February 23rd – Sunday, February 25th. This is a really fun tournament we have typically played in in prior years, but in order to determine whether or not we can play and have enough coaches available, I need to have a gauge of how many players would be able to make it. **Jon Grace, the SHS Boy's High School coach, has asked me to remind you about their community awareness game on Saturday, January 13 against Harwood at 4:15 PM in Stowe. The SHS boy's high school team is excited to team up with the Lamoille Community Food Share (www.lcfoodshare.org) again. Last year they raised $289 and over 300 food and personal care items. We want to crush those numbers this year and we need your help to do it!
The game is meant to bring awareness to people with food insecurity in our communities and for our teams to do our part to give back. We hope everyone will participate (if you are able) by bringing canned goods and/or monetary donations to our game that night. The program is looking for any in-date, non-perishable food items. Here is a wish list of items in case you need ideas:
**at 6:30, after the SHS Boy's Hockey game, SYH has organized a Future Raiders: Junior Skate Session event after the game. The boy's high school team and coaching staff will be hosting an on-ice stick and puck session with members of the Stowe Youth Hockey Association.
