Stowe Youth Hockey encourages its players to consider becoming credentialed officials. It’s a fantastic way to really learn the rules, see the game from a different perspective, and learn to respect the official’s job. And it’s a great job that gives you extra ice time!

Youth Officials should be two age groups above the game they officiate.
A U-12 age official can officiate a U-8 game.
An *experienced* U-12 age official can be a junior official in a U-10 game *if needed*
A U-14 age player can officiate a U-10 game.
An *experienced* U-14 age official can be a junior official in a U-12 game *if needed*
