Stick Season Showdown Tournament Volunteers needed: The tournament is 1.5 weeks away. Thank you to those who have already signed up for volunteer shifts- I see you! We have many open volunteer positions to make this event a success. Sign up here.

Our team was in the Stowe Reporter this past week, thank you to Owen's dad, Bill, for writing up the article. If you missed it, the link is here.

I have been taking pictures and uploading them to our team webpage, they are visible and downloadable under the photos tab.

As a reminder, I am including the Stowe Youth Hockey Locker Room Policy:

  • Locker rooms must be monitored by at least one SafeSport-trained, screened adult whenever players are present.
  • No cell phones, cameras, or recording devices are permitted inside locker rooms at any time.
  • Coaches and team staff are responsible for ensuring that locker rooms are a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all players.
  • Any inappropriate language, bullying, physical contact, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated and will result in disciplinary action.

Failure to comply with these requirements places our players, coaches, and organization at serious risk. Moving forward, any violations of locker room supervision or conduct policies will be referred to our Disciplinary Committee in conjunction with VSAHA for review and potential action.

All teams are expected to immediately review the locker room monitoring procedures and ensure that a SafeSport-trained, screened adult is present whenever players are in the locker room. This includes before and after all practices and games.

Should this continue to be an issue all locker rooms will be locked until a coach is present.

We take the safety and well-being of our athletes seriously, and adherence to these policies is non-negotiable.
